On the invitation of Awtan Multicultural Foundation I travelled to Holland. So, in the court of the Hagg University, I read a lot of my poems in Arabic and English that could give the Dutch audience a clear picture about my special way in writing poetry, and answer their questions at the end of the lecture .

Chairman Awtan Multicultural Foundation, Mahmound Jasem Alnajar, introduced me to the audience referring to my ability in writing poetry in English and Arabic, whereas the critic and poet Mahady Annffary read his article about my poetry that was titled : (The dream in Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen's poetry).

of Nuova Ipsa Editore, who published my poetry book: (Forty Poems about the Letter) أربعون قصيدة عن الحرف (Quaranta poesie sulla letter), and the invitation of the translator Asma Gherib, I visited Italy to take part in the launch that was held by the publisher in the city of Palermo, Italy. In this successful launch, I read some of my poems, spoke to the Italian audience about my poetry in general and about this collection in particular, answered their different questions and signed happily many copies of the book at the end of the launch.

At the launch, I was presented by the Italian writer Vincenzo Prestigiacomo who introduced me to the audience referring to my long experience in writing poetry through 40 years and to 14 poetry books I have published in Arabic and English.

I was also participated with the Italian critic: Mario de Moncada Monforth who read his article about my particular style of writing poetry, and the translator Asma Gherib who explained her wonderful experience in translating this poetry collection and read her introduction for (Forty Poems about the Letter).

The Italian poet and actor Vincenzo Pomar also shared to read my poems in Italian language.

and the Italian newspaper: La Sicilia published on Saturday 10 March 2012 an article under the title: (journey to find the sun spirit).

Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen's poetry collection: (Forty Poems about the Letter) (Quaranta poesie sulla lettera) has been recently translated into Italian language by the translator and writer Asma Gherib and published by the Italian publisher: Nuova Ipsa Editore. Whereas the picture of the cover collection made by the artist Ayad Alqaragholli.

(Forty Poems about the Letter) has been written in Sydney and Adelaide to contain 40 poems about love, dream, exile, and death.

However, Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen's poetry was translated into many languages such as Spanish, Persian, Kurdish, German and French..

(I Say the Letter and I Mean My Fingers) is the title of the new poetry collection

That has been recently published by (Arab Scientific Publishers, Inc) in Beirut, Lebanon 2011.

This poetry collection has been written by Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen who lives in Australia as an Australian citizen since 2003 to contain forty poems that deal deeply with the subjects of loneliness, death and love such as: Something Wrong, Zorba, Back from the Will, the Palm, a Lot of Pictures, at the Last Airport, the Mirror, Dialogue, The Dance, and Letter, what is your name?

The picture of the cover collection was made by the artist Ayad Alqaragholli whereas the artist Sameh Khalaf designed the cover.

The Australian writer and critic Anne-Marie Smith published an article about the newest poetry collection of Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen in Transnational Literature Volume 2 No 1 November 2009.

Azminah publisher in Jordan has recently published the newest poetry collection of Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen. Its title is (Forty Poems about the Letter) .This collection has been written in Sydney and Adelaide to contain 40 poems about love, dream, exile, and death. Now, Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen has ten poetry collections in Arabic and one in English.

The Australian Publisher Seaview Press Pty Ltd has published a new collection of Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen’ poetry. Its title is “Fatherhood”. It contains 30 poems such as: kelmat, An Attempt to fly, Sleeplessness, Theft, The Crow, Laughter, The Past of Meaning, Dyad, Boredom, An Attempt at Isolation, An Attempt at Eulogy, The Head's Loneliness, Fire and Sinbad, Losses, An Attempt at Madness, The Piper and An Attempt at the Bullet.

The Australian writer and poet Jude Aquilina writes an introduction to this collection, “Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen's poetry: The shades of darkness”. Whereas the Cover photograph has been taken by: Shamsaldin Hama.

One of Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen’s poems has been chosen and published in a new anthology edited by the President of the Multicultural Writers of Australia Association, Dr. Anne-Marie Smith.

“Fire and Sinbad” is the title of the poem whereas “Culture is…” is the title of the anthology that has printed recently by Wakefield Press in Adelaide.

About 50 poems, short stories and plays of many Australian poets and writers of all backgrounds has been published in this anthology to present contemporary views about the real and secret life of Australian people.

Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen's poem, "Sleeplessness", has recently been published as one of "The Best Australian Poems 2007" (edited by Peter Rose). This anthology contains poems for more than 60 famous Australian poets, such as Les Murray, David Malouf, Peter Porter, Judith Beveridge, Lisa Gorton, Barry Hill, and John Tranter.

"Man of Letters: 33 critics write about Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen's poetry" is the title of the book that has been recently published by Arabic institution publisher in Lebanon. This book edited and introduced by the Iraqi critic Dr. Migdad Rahim to discusse the poetry of Kamal Ad-Deen.

Dr. Migdad Rahim chooses about 40 articles and research of 33 famous Arabic critics who deal with and explain Kamal Ad-Deen' poetry such as: Dr. A. Almakaleh, Dr. A. As-Sayah, Dr. A. Muhamed, Dr. Hasen Nadhem, Dr. Nadhem Udah, Dr. Adnan Aldher, Faisel Abdulhasn , Dr. Hatem As-Saker, A. Ar-Rubayi, Saleh Zamel, Dr. Mustafa Alkaylani, Dr. Bushrah Musa Saleh , and Ali Alfwaz.

"The Tree of Letters" is the latest poetry collection that was written by Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen and published by Azminah in Jordan in June 2007.

It contains forty poems that deal with subjects such as Love, Freedom and the conflict between Life and Death through poems; "The Last Visitor", "My Everlasting Poem", 'The Stranger", "Love", "Boy", "Dream", My New Poem", "At That Moment", "The Captain" "The Tree of Snakes", "Stones" and "Interesting, Strange, Wonderful!". "The Tree of Letters" is the ninth poetry collection that has been written by Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen.

Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen's poetry collection (Before the Letter.. After the Dot) became a drama dance and it played on the stage of Babylon Artists in Iraq on 21st of April 2007. Thualfekar Kheder and Maithem Shakeri embodied the two characters of the play: the letter and the dot, whereas Thualfekar Khder and Zuheer Jubury wrote the scenario.

Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen's biography was published in "Who's Who in South Australia, State Edition 2007". It contained the names of his books, degrees, works and achievements.

Indeed, "Who's Who in South Australia 2007" contained a lot of outstanding Australian people who have notable local, national and global achievements in Poetry, Art, Sport, Science, Business and Education.

On Friday 16th March 2007, Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen shared in the radio program "Australia Talks" that was broadcast by ABC Radio National with a number of Australian poets, Lauren Williams, Mike Ladd, Paul Barclay, and the Executive Producer of this program, Matthew Leonard. The program subject was "Politics and Poetry". Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen spoke about the importance of the relationship between Politics and Poetry, especially in the developing countries, such as Iraq, and read one of his poems "Boredom".

On the seventh of August 2006 Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen read four of his poems: An Attempt at Madness, The Crow, Fire and Sindabad and Boredom at the Gallery de la Catessen in Adelaide sharing with four Australian poets: Cath Kenneally, Rachel Manning, Kate Deller- evans and Ros Prosser. Adeeb was introduced to the audience by Ken Bolton. This reading was part of "Lee Marvin Readings in Adelaide" for new writing.

"Before the letter ...After the Dot" is the title of the latest poetry collection that has been published for Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen by Azminsh publisher in Amman- Jordan in July 2006. This collection deals with the favorite subjects of Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen such as love, suffering, exile and freedom. It contains 40 poems that have been written since the poet arrived in Australia in 2003.

"Boredom": " Aburrimiento " is the title of Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen' poem that has been translated into the Spanish language and published recently in Buenos Aires in the first anthology of Iraqi poetry in Spanish. The editor is Clase Turista for this anthology that contains poems for Nedhal Abbas,Sinan Antoon, Adnan al-Sayegh and Anwer al-Ghassani as well.

Throughout 2005, the editors of Friendly Street Poetry Reader 30, Louise Nicholas and rob walker, will be selecting poems read at a recent Friendly Street meeting for posting on the website.

An Attempt at The Bullet

I had a heart

When I grew up

My heart turned into a sparrow

Then into a flower,

A word,

A tear,

A piece of bread.

When I became older

My heart turned into a steel bullet,

Cold and smooth.

Once I tried to protest against this change

The warplanes saw my heart from a distance

And sent a rocket at me.

It blasted me from inside

So, I fragmentized … fragmentized

Until I saw the sparrow dropping

With one wing,

And I smelt the flower red and red.

With the word, I wrote my tear and bread

And I touched the bullet;

It was cold and smooth as death.
